Fireworks Effects
There are many types of classifications of fireworks and their effects. Explained here are some of the effects and the general terminology
used for describing fireworks.
Hard breaks, medium breaks, soft breaks and long duration are some of the main effects discussed. Hard breaks are round, full bodied and
heavy in density. Medium breaks are less bodied, have less density and split. Soft breaks have chasing, glittering, strobing and crackling
effects. Long duration have tracing stars and have a hanging effect.

"CAKES" is an analogy that each tube -or shot- in a multi aerial represents a candle on a birthday cake.
How Cakes Work:
TUBES ARE FUSED TOGETHER TO SHOOT IN ORDER AND PATTERN.
"ZIG-ZAG" or "SNIPER" patterns (sequence fusing)
"V"or "FAN" shaped patterns (barrage fusing)
"SPIRAL" or "CYCLICAL" patterns (sequence fusing)
"CENTER TO EDGE" patterns both sequential and barrage fusing
"EDGE TO CENTER" patterns both sequential and barrage fusing
